26-27 Season Outlook –
The 2026–2027 season outlook for the Scecina Memorial High School Girls Volleyball team centers on a deeply experienced, battle-tested core of returning players poised to make a major push in the Indiana Crossroads Conference (ICC). Following a strong foundational year under Head Coach Maegan Dickerson, the Crusaders return nearly their entire varsity lineup. This continuity gives Scecina a distinct tactical advantage, bringing established chemistry and positional maturity to the floor.
Mykela Dickerson serves as the focal point of the offense after proving her capabilities as a freshman kill-leader. Olivia Anglemyer brings senior leadership to the outside and looks for her 1000th kill.
Mia Miller supplies vital senior length in the middle to disrupt opponent hitting angles. The development of Claire Miller gives Scecina a physically imposing block and strong transition options out of the middle.
Leah Guilfoy anchors the back-row defense as a premier libero coming off a highly competitive club season. Her elite floor defense and steady serve receive, paired with Sophia Cougan, ensure Scecina will limit unforced errors.
Makayla Martin returns to direct the tempo after a stellar sophomore campaign where she frequently eclipsed the 40-assist mark in single matches. Alongside Cienna Biggs, the Crusaders boast excellent setting depth, allowing them to run an efficient, high-tempo offense.
