Coaching Staff

The Crusaders boys basketball team is led by head coach Jim Stanbrough, now in his fifth season at Scecina. In his first year, he guided the team to a Semi-State appearance. Last year the team finished 18-7 and made it to the Indianapolis City Tournament Championship game. In Coach Stanbrough's four sectional appearances, he has made it to the Championship Game three times, winning one. With over 30 years of coaching experience, he has also coached at Brebeuf, Lawrence North, and Mesa Community College. A graduate of Indiana University, Stanbrough spent four years as a student manager and assistant under the legendary Bob Knight.
