Boys Cross Country

2026-27 Cross Country Outlook:
Coach Egan and Bachus are really excited for the ’26 season. We go into this year with the largest team we have had in several years and with an expectation of returning and new runners contributing to a successful season.
We had a productive summer and laid down a good foundation of mileage. Our focus will be on steady progress with the goal of peaking at Conference, Sectionals and then qualifying as many runners as possible for Regionals.
On the boys’ side, we will be led by junior Sky Davis and we will have healthy competition for team scoring runners. Sophomore Max Weliever is coming off a great Track season and will be a part of a solid pack with juniors Adan Perez, Andrew Kennedy, senior David Moreno and freshman Miles Koening pushing each other for low team scores in our meets. Seniors Jeff Swinefurth, Andrew Pietro and Sebastian Rodriguez along with freshman Paddy McLaughlin and Jospeh Perez round out the squad with expectations of consistent improvement over the course of the season.
For the girls, junior Luci Tovar, sophomores Vivian (“Viva”) Kolakovich and Ellie Hadley are coming off a very solid track season and consistent summer conditioning. All 3 should vie for top finishes in their races. We enter the season with a scoring team of 5 runners with returning sophomore Alexa Alonso and senior newcomer Kym Posadas-Gonzalez rounding out the team and pushing each other for low times and team scoring.
