25-26 Season Outlook
The outlook for the 2025-2026 boys’ basketball team is one of optimism and excitement. Four starters return with Jaylin Foster (6’5” Sophomore, 9.6 PPG last year), Adrian Hill (Senior, 7.0 PPG and Captain), Caleb Davis (Senior, 3.5 PPG) and Mo Schelhas (6’8” Senior, 2.8 PPG). The Indianapolis Star recognized Jaylin as a Top 15 player in the State of Indiana for the Class of 2028. These starters are joined by two talented incoming transfers, Senior Bryce Mathis (15.8 PPG) and Sophomore Boomer Minch, as well as Sophomore Ian Collins up from our JV team last year. Bryce and Jaylin are likely to be All-City and All-Conference players for this season.
The Indianapolis City Basketball Coaches voted Scecina as the Pre-Season #4 team in the City behind Cathedral, Attucks, and Ritter.
Head Coach Jim Stanbrough continues to raise the program’s level of competition by adding Westfield, New Castle, and Anderson to a schedule that already includes Roncalli, Guerin Catholic, Park Tudor, University and Triton Central.
