25-26 Season Outlook

The outlook for the 2025–26 Scecina wrestling season is one of growth, grit, and renewed energy under returning head coach Bobby Sponsel. While the roster is small, the team’s early performances show strong promise. In their opening competition, the Crusaders took the mat with only six available wrestlers and still earned four individual victories, including two hard-fought matches. Even more impressive, five of the eight wrestlers in the program are brand new to the sport, yet they’ve shown remarkable effort and rapid improvement. With an emphasis on fundamentals, toughness, and steady development, the program is building a solid foundation for long-term success.
